Measuring for Your Correct Bra Size
Many women are currently wearing the wrong size bra. There is a chance the bra size you're currently wearing is not your correct size. A properly fitting bra is comfortable and flattering. The perfect bra can lift, separate, accentuate, minimize or maximize.
There are two measurements in determining your correct bra size; the Band measurement, and the Cup measurement. The band measurement represents the numeric portion of your bra size while the cup measurement is used to determine your cup size. Note: Step 2, your cup size, is not required for Chest Savers Lingerie. It is however required for Chest Savers Bras and, regardless, it is always good information to have on hand. 1. Get Your Band Measurement Measure under your arms, high on your back, and around the top of your chest. If this measurement is an even number then this is your band size. If this measurement is an odd number then add 1" to determine your band size. Record that number for step 3.
2. Get Your Cup Measurement While wearing your favorite comfortable and supportive bra, measure loosely around the fullest part of your bust. Record that number as well. 3. Calculate Your Bra Size Subtract your band measurement from your cup measurement. Each inch represents a cup size. Example: if your band measurement is 36" and your cup measurement is 38", then the difference between these measurements is two inches, and you would wear a B-cup.
